• Activity Details : This is to inform you that our IT infrastructure team will be enabling the number matching for our M365 multifactor authentication to enhance the security feature, to prevent accidental approvals and to defend against MFA attacks.
Note: No user intervention is required.
The conditions below show the Multi Authenticator MFA experience.
- Require users to enter the number displayed on the sign-in screen when approving an MFA request in authenticator.
- Application context: Show users which application they’re signing into.
- Location context: Show users their sign-in location based on the IP address of the device they’re signing into.
Service Impact: All core staffs will need to comply.
