Please be advised that our service provider will perform fiber span loss rectification maintenance on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM (PHT).

During the maintenance window, a 15-minute service interruption on the IPLC is expected. However, due to the way our network is setup, traffic should be automatically failover to the VPN connection that will result to a latency increase on VPC/RDP’s.

• Event: Network Device Software Upgrade

• Schedule: June 16, 2025 (Monday) | 12:00 AM – 06:00 AM (PHT)

Hi Team,

We would like to inform you that one of our service providers will be performing a software upgrade of their network device to the latest version to enhance network security, performance, and overall system functionality.

During the maintenance window, a maximum of a 2-hour interruption on one of our sites to datacenter circuit is expected. However, due to the configuration of our network having backup circuits, we expect only a partial impact on internet and network connectivity as we have automatic failovers in place.

During the failover process, you may experience brief disruptions on any of the following below:

Choppy or Dropped VoIP Calls – Poor audio quality, delays, or dropped calls on platforms like Zoom, Teams, or Skype. Delayed Emails & Messages – Slower delivery of emails (Outlook, Gmail) and messages in chat apps like Slack and Teams. Latency Issues – Delays in response times, particularly for real-time applications. Remote Desktop (RDP) Disruptions – Lag, session timeouts, or disconnections when accessing remote systems.

• Schedule : March 30, 2024 (Saturday) | 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (PHT)

• Activity Details : Our facilities and building administration will be conducting their Annual Preventive Maintenance at our OSB site on the 30th of March 2024 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm to guarantee the continuous excellent performance of the building’s electrical system.

During the maintenance window, a total shutdown on the power source of the building is expected however if you wish to have and use a small portable generator set for computers, servers, electric fans, and lights you can coordinate it to the Engineering department on the proper location of the generator sets, connections, and wiring layouts, and for OCAI and Brgy. San Antonio Office for activity clearance purposes.

Note from the FA/BA: “ All generator set users must ensure that their portable generators are ready and operational before 7:00 am to avoid unnecessary delay on this activity “.

• Activity Details : Our service provider will be conducting a migration on one of their router devices from old to new due to upcoming end of support of the current router.

During the maintenance activity, there will be a 10 – 20 minutes downtime on our network and internet connectivity.

• Activity Details : One of our service providers will be rectifying the fiber failure discovered on February 5, 2024 on the Philippine East Route (Backhaul), which resulted in aberrant traffic on one of our internet gateways recently.

During the maintenance operation, performance on the impacted circuit will be degraded, however owing to the way our network is configured, the impact will be low because we have another internet gateway accessible that will load balance traffic.
