As part of the ongoing efforts to provide an enhanced security and protection to our network, one of our service providers will conduct a Next Generation Firewall Upgrade on July 26, 2025, from 12:00 AM – 06:00 AM (PHT).

During the maintenance window, we expect a minimal to no impact on internet and network connectivity as automatic failover mechanisms are in place to ensure service continuity.

• Event: New Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Installation

• Activity Details:

Hi Team,

Our systems engineering and administration team will be installing a New Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to replace the old UPS to avoid and mitigate the risk of power issues on our networking devices.

During the maintenance window, brief interruptions may occur as we replace the UPS units one at a time to minimize interruption and to ensure network and internet availability. Please note that users connected via Wired/LAN may experience temporary disruptions.

As a temporary alternative, we recommend connecting to #EmaptaExperience Wireless SSID to maintain internet access during the said activity.

• Activity Details : We have monitored that the affected circuit is UP and Stable for 18 hours now. However, we observed that we are not getting the correct allocated bandwidth speed resulting user’s onsite that utilizing the affected circuit experience slow connectivity on their web-based tool and internet connection. We are now in coordination with our service provider and provided necessary information to them for further isolation of this issue.

During the incident time, user’s onsite will experience partial to no impact on internet and network connectivity is expected as we have another available internet circuit uplink that servers as a backup.
