• Activity Details : Our systems engineering and administration team will be installing a new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) to replace the old UPS to avoid and mitigate the risk of power issues on our networking devices.

During the activity, a partial impact on network and internet connectivity on both wired and wireless connection is expected, but we have another site to data center circuit available for connection redundancy while we transfer our other networking devices from old to new Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

• Activity Details : One of our service providers will be conducting a network circuit testing to rectify and check the high latency found on our site-to-datacenter circuit.

During the testing activity, user’s onsite may experience an intermittency on network and internet connectivity for both wired and wireless connection.

RISE Ticket#INC-127645 | December 4, 2024| Multiple Sites |Internet Upstream Issues

Hi Team,

We are aware of some network and internet connectivity issues being experienced across Philippines' Emapta sites. Preliminary investigation showed that there is a possible upstream issue on an international circuit that our provider is peered with. We have raised this concern to our provider for their further checking, as well as a temporary solution to avoid the problematic circuit.
