• Activity Details : In our continuing efforts to improve the wireless experience across all sites, We are encouraging all EMAPTA Core Employees to start utilizing the new #EmaptaExperience wireless SSID starting today until the 7th of April. We will be decommissioning "ENET" wireless SSID on the 14th or April.

Our client-facing wireless SSID "E" will be unaffected by this change and will have another set of transition schedule and notification to be put in place.

• Service Impact : No connection to ENET SSID will be available after April 14, 2023.

During the maintenance window, there will be an eight (8) hours of downtime on the affected circuit but due to our network is setup the traffic will be automatically failover to the VPN connection.

• Activity Details : This is to inform you that our IT infrastructure team will be enabling the number matching for our M365 multifactor authentication to enhance the security feature, to prevent accidental approvals and to defend against MFA attacks.

Note: No user intervention is required.

The conditions below show the Multi Authenticator MFA experience.

  1. Require users to enter the number displayed on the sign-in screen when approving an MFA request in authenticator.
  2. Application context: Show users which application they’re signing into.
  3. Location context: Show users their sign-in location based on the IP address of the device they’re signing into.

Service Impact: All core staffs will need to comply.

One of our office Internet Service Providers has a planned maintenance scheduled for March 30, 2023 at 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Our carrier will be conducting emergency hardware replacement line module in Taiwan due to a potential High IXD temperature alarm that may potentially cause circuits/hardware an Unplanned event and longer outage.

Expected impact will be +50ms latency. Internet connectivity will experience no downtime.

• Activity Details : NCP IPLC has been successfully restored and monitored as up at exactly 10:35 am and stable for about 4 hours now. As observed also, NCP VPC were now at normal range latency.

• Activity Details : We have monitored that our NCP IPLC is currently down and we already coordinating this to our internet service provider and waiting for their response. During this incident time, the traffic will be automatically failover to the VPN connection resulting in increase of latency with the NCP VPCs.
